Affiliate Disclosure & Advertising Disclaimer

Last updated: July 16, 2026

RupyaOff is a free service for Indian online shoppers, and we believe you deserve to know exactly how we keep it free. This page explains our affiliate relationships, our advertising, and the firewall we keep between how we earn money and which coupons we recommend. In short: the store pays us, never you — and a commission never buys a better ranking on this site.

Affiliate links

Many of the outbound links on RupyaOff — the "Visit store", "Use code", and "Get this coupon" buttons — are affiliate links. When you click one and go on to make a purchase, the merchant (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Swiggy, and others) may pay us a small commission. This commission comes out of the store's marketing budget. It is paid at no additional cost to you — you pay exactly the same price you would have paid going to the store directly, and often less, because the point of the link is to apply a discount.

We mark affiliate outbound links with the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, in line with Google's guidelines for paid and affiliate links.

How commissions do — and don't — influence us

This is the part that matters most. RupyaOff ranks coupons by a Confidence Score — how recently we verified the code, how reliable its source is, and whether real shoppers told us it worked. We never rank a code higher because it pays us more. We list stores we earn nothing from alongside stores we do, using the same standard. If a higher-paying code is less likely to work, it ranks lower. That independence is the whole reason the site is useful.

About the coupon codes

Every code we publish is tested against a real cart before it goes live and re-checked daily. Even so, coupons are controlled by the merchant, not by us. A code that worked this morning can be pulled, capped, or expired by the store at any time, and offers frequently carry conditions — minimum cart value, new-user-only eligibility, category exclusions, or single-use limits. We do our best to flag these, but we cannot guarantee any code will work at your checkout. If one fails, you lose nothing — try the next verified code.

Display advertising

RupyaOff also shows display advertising through Google AdSense. These ads are served and targeted by Google, and are clearly distinct from our editorial coupon listings and blog content. Advertisers who buy these ads have no influence over what we write or which codes we verify. You can read how advertising cookies are handled in our Privacy Policy.

Editorial independence

Our blog posts, store comparisons, and buying guides are written independently. When we say one cashback app beats another, or name a particular credit card as the best for a sale, that is our honest assessment based on testing — not a paid placement. No brand can pay to be recommended in our editorial content. Where a commercial relationship could reasonably affect how you read a recommendation, we disclose it on that page.

Trademarks

Store names, logos, and trademarks shown on RupyaOff belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the stores whose public offers we aggregate. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement of RupyaOff by those brands.
